Love this hotel, it’s close to the MTR station, shopping and food just a few steps away. Quiet night's sleep. I was able to check in at once. Breakfast was served fast, room was clean and bottled water is replenished daily. Overall, I love my stay at this hotel. I will be back here again.

Breakfast is not the best also there is no choice for fresh milk for your tea or coffee (Carnation only). Staff could be more pleasant, a smile wouldn't hurt, the settee in the rooms are so uncomfortable to sit on there is no way you can sit on it just to relax and unwind, the hotel is ok if you just need somewhere to sleep.

The room was quite small but I like the sofa bed. With the king size bed and the sofa bed, the room was really worth it. The place was clean and the staff were all friendly. The location was convenient. It's right in front of Times Square and there's a walkway going to Causeway bay MTR station. This would be a 8-10 minutes walk. Quite far but the walkway will lead you to the MTR.

Hotel Location is great. At the back of times square, mtr station below times square. Always a taxi available downstairs. Or you can walk a little to find a taxi queue. Many restaurants inside the hotel.

The hotel is just behind Times Square! That's a big plus! the room is clean and comfy. Downstairs, there's a dessert corner shop that's really popular with the locals, the queue can be amazingly long. We didn't get the chance to try it tho. If you walk pass Percival street, SOGO is just few walks away but mind you, the streets are really crowded with shoppers! No need to get taxis, shops are nearby.

This is my second time to stay at this hotel. Very nice location, very accessible via Times Square exit, plenty of shops all around. Rooms are clean but a little bit cramped, I didn't mind the CRT TV, and the breakfast servers need to be a little more efficient. Overall a very decent hotel, good value for money.

The staff was quick, kind and so accommodating. When our toilet had a problem, the housekeeping department was quick to repair it. Everything was okay except for the sofa that's old and weary, the foam is too soft that we can't seat for long time which can hurt our back problem. Hope you can change the sofa in the rooms.

Clean & fuss-free hotel in a superb location, just next to Times Square and Causeway Bay MTR station. Free wifi in the room. Sofa bed is big enough for 2 kids. Dessert shop on the ground floor serves very good dessert! Will definitely stay here again!

Room is tiny but that is common in HK hotels. Location is the selling point with about 2 mins. walk from Times Square, just opposite to the back door of the Lane Crawford. Staff are friendly and professional. It provides free breakfast for all hotel guests, though the food is just average.

Holiday Inn Express Causeway Bay is good for a 3star hotel. They provide free internet connection in the rooms (although you need to connect via Lan). This hotel is ideal if you're planning to walk around the Causeway Bay shopping areas. Time Square which is accross the hotel has a underground connection to reach the MTR station, though you need to walk approx 7 minutes to reach the station.

i wish the extra bed is not a couch on the floor, and maybe there should be a choice of not having breakfast and a lower room rate. the location is good that there are plenty of places near with good food. and i hope in the website prior to checking in a choice for a non-smoking room is considered by the front desk, better yet make the hotel a non-smoking hotel.

1) The drainage was not too good as the shower area tend to choke up after 1 shower. 2) There was not adequate space alongside the wash basin to place the toiletries and had to be placed somewhere else. 3) Shower cap which was meant to be reused was thrown away and with no replacement of new shower cap. 4) Would be better if there is wireless internet connection in the room. 5) Had to monitor on our own when the airport coch would arrive (the hotel lobby was on the second floor instead of the usual ground floor) although we were told by the hotel receptionist that they would informed us of its arrival.

We're very satisfied with this hotel because of its good value for money. It has great location, free internet access and includes breakfast. The room is smaller than the usual 4-star hotels but it's clean and comfortable. It will cost you $30 if you leave your luggage at the concierge. But overall, it's still worth it. I will certainly go back to this hotel.

Nice room and clean...very well presented for my needs but, I'm very dissapointed regarding the telephone use and how the front desk staff handle thier guest. I have to wait for almost 30 minutes just to check out and the only thing that they did was to get my keys...thats all...what a waste of time. And one more thing, the price quote on the internet is different from the actual booking ..please fix this issue. Thanks.

room was quite small. breakfast was awful. some receptionist arent that friendly. but it was cheaper compared to other other hotels in causeway bay and near to the MTR so its a so so hotel for me. reception people arent that friendly and accomodating but housekeeping was great. awful breakfast! They should improve on this big time. we stayed for 3 nights.. i only used my breakfast voucher once.. after that, i decided not to.

Holiday Inn Express really made my stay in Hong Kong superb. The location is excellent especially for shopaholics. The MTR station and Times Square is just right across so you can just drop off all your buys at the hotel. And of course, the restaurants are good and there's a free breakfast daily. At such an affordable price, this is one of the best hotels !

Convenient location, neat and tidy. A bit crampy and room between desk and bed was so tight that it was impossible to pass if someone was sitting at the desk. Great that there is free internet in the room. Size is not bad but a bit crampy because of poor placement of furnishings. Free internet is a big plus. Attentive and efficient service from front desk to restaurant staff. Only had breakfast and pretty average. Despite being located in a busy area of the city, but it's still pretty quiet in the room. Very convenient for transportation, shopping and food. No trouble getting around with easy access to the MTR, trams, buses. There no need to take taxi.

The hotel is well located and modern but the rooms are small and thee is no room service. Ironing is done in an ironing room on the 11th floor which is an inconvenience. Breakfast is basic with a choice of only three small set serves. Okay for business and those just requiring the basics but a bit pricey at HK$1150 a night.

The location is excellent. The breakfast is horrible. On Sun 10 DEC 2006, there was a queue of about 20 people which took 20 minutes to clear. And then, for a simple breakfast it took another 20 minutes to arrive after almost screaming at the manager, who doesn't seem to give a fig about the situation. The amenities are basic.

Best location - right next to Times Square in Causeway Bay. Good amenities - breakfast, free internet. Main things missing were personal amenities like a good shampoo/conditioner, slippers. The rooms are quite spacious by HK standards. Clean sheets and toilet. Apparently, it's a fairly new hotel and therefore, not many cab drivers are aware of it. Restaurants are located nearby. There are no views, unless u love to look out to the roads and buiildings, but the rooms are clean and nice. The highlight of it all is the fact that it's centrally located. Walk to MTR is approx 10mins with shops along the way. Breakfast was extremely limited and blend. The tables were closely located next to each other and one could hardly walk pass. You could clumsily knock your neighbour while trying to get in. Staff who requested for our passports were clueless as to how to check us in. NO greetings. Another senior staff who checked us in was serious and not friendly. For business and shopping travellers...if all u need is a clean room and a strategically located hotel, this is the place.

I liked the location best -- underground train, taxi stand, shopping and restaurantrs were very conveniently located. The types of restaurants in the neighbourhood ranged from economy to luxaury class. They were all good. The room itself was smaller than usual because of the shape of the building structure at that location (Rm 2802). Although the room was non-smoking, I suspect previous occupiers had smoked in it because there was a smell of stale smoke in the room even after two days.
