truly appreciate the closeness to MTR station, plus the complimentary frequent shuttle bus service really helped and able to take me to places in comfortable vehicles (with A/C) quickly. Staff at the hotel, drivers, doormen delivered absolutely impeccable service and are all very friendly and efficient. 5-star service! I will definitely stay at Harbour Plaza NP again when i come to HK. Highly recommended....

This hotel has few drawbacks. It is not "in the centre of things" but is so well positioned for public transport that this does not matter.

Very good Hotel close to underground trains and on bus /tram route. Facilities all excellent including the outdoor swimming pool and restraunts. Staff all very helpful and knowledgeable. Bit out of the centre but with its great links and views it is a good place to rest your head.

We stayed at a junior suite with harbour view. The staffs had been very thoughtful and took good care of us. We were travelling with a baby and the hotel staffs had done every thing they could to ease our stay. They provide baby cot and baby bathtub in the hotel. U just need to reserve it ahead of time. There are free hotel shuttles to several major shopping areas, umbrellas to borrow during rainy days, skype phone rentals, etc. Make sure you asked the conciege. And there is airport shuttles available with a reasonable price. Underground railway and supermarket are just right across the street. If you don't mind staying at a residential area which has no night life, this is the right hotel for you with great value. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Nice hotel, good quality/price ratio. It is not located in central HK, but still with the MRT you can easily reach Central or Causeway Bay with no hassle. The area is a little bit dead at night.

The location is good, across the road is a welcome (supermarket) and a Cafe de Coral (fast food) The hotel is a bit further away from the night life but is on the tram line and close (500mtr) to a MTR station. The room was a bit small for 3 single beds. The gym was quiet and equipment in good condition, I don't suppose many travelers use it. Over all the hotel was nice. A bit over priced for the size of the room though. Hotel resturant not open yet. Room size was small, Cable TV was good. Taxi's at the door, tram stop about 100 metres away and MTR station 200 metres away.

My wife and I along with our 2 young daughters stayed in a family suite from 2-19, 2-27-08. I must say I was not very pleased with the hotel. We booked a harbour view suite and they stuck us with a boring mountain view. The receptionist will upgrade to a harbour view for an additional $300.00 HK dollars per night. The carpet was old and dirty, furniture was horribly stained, I had to place a towel on the seats so we can sit on them. This was the 2nd time we have stayed in this hotel..and I promise, it will be the last! The only good thing about this hotel is MTR station is just across the street and local grocery store not too far. I give a 3 star max..who ever rated this a 4 star must been drunk! FYI..right next to the hotel is a funeral home!?!?! If that kind of stuff bothers you, I suggest you look for a different place to stay!

It's close to the MTA and it's not as loud so that's nice. The concierge could have been better - really was just the bellman and he didn't have much to offer with recommendations for restaurants for directions. They could have a better stand for information about tourism. The rooms were clean but are starting to look a little tired. Overall, I was pleased with my stay there.

I have stayed in this hotel for many times already. The size of room is a bit small but the overall its okay for me because the room, bathroom and furnishings are in good condition. The location of the hotel is close to the MRT station and have a supermarket nearby. I will stay in this hotel again in the future.

My Wife and I and 15month old stayed for 5 nights. The Hotel is conveniently situated around 100m from the MTR Quarry Bay Station. Taxis are cheap so we used both the MTR & Taxis for travelling. There is a shuttle bus that is free from the Hotel which is great when you want to leave the hotel to head out but not so good if you want to use to come back to the hotel as it is difficult for the shuttle to maintain an accurate timetable. You could be waiting a while to be picked up to go back to the hotel. Breakfast in the hotel looked nice but we didn't try it as it was USD13 per adult which was not in our budget. Instead there is a cafe nearby the MTR station that does a very cheap very fast breakfast. Mcdonalds is around the corner as well for breakfast. My wife needed to see a dentist while we stayed in the hotel and we found the hotel staff very helpful in finding a dentist and making an appointment for us. The rooms are a good size for Hong Kong so not complaints there. We visited the pool area which we didn't use as it was a little cold, but it looked nice enough. Our room had a peak view of the water. I would specify a King bed as we ended up with 2 singles that we pushed together. All in all a nice place to stay.

Excellent hotel, value for money. Extememly helful an friendly staff. Free shuttle bus to nearby shopping plaza, train station etc. Late checkout available til 4pm. Views of Kowloon and the Harbour. Had a suite, separate living room, kitchen, bedroom and luxourious bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. Internet access and sky TV. Has a cafe, and two restaurants. Only ate at the cafe. Cheaper to eat out of the hotel. Can book a babysitter with just 6 hours notice. Recommended highly.

Found the location not as attractive as I might have expected but relatively peaceful and hugely convenient - mini supermarket, MTR, tram and bus links to the centre of HK outside the door including cheap and fast City Flyer bus (A12) direct to airport. Lunch and dinner buffets in Green's quite good and included super oysters. All hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Some of the facilities seemed too remote to attract custom: e.g. Chinese restaurant and swimming pool on 3rd floor and Fitness Centre cut off in basement. Might have gone for some of the beauty treatments if staff had been on site rather than contractors requiring 3 hours' notice. Room & bed quite comfortable; pillows less so; air conditioning just right; good shower.

Clean hotel with good bathroom amenities. Water heater and pressure really good. Very accessible to transportation. However, at night time, store in the vicinity closes early... not really at the center of hongkong activities, esp at night. Overall, the hotel was comfortable and you can take a good rest after a day full of activities.

I stayed at Harbour Plaza during my leisure and this was my first time staying at the hotel. The room size was not big but I guess that's the standard size in HKG hotel. It has clean room and quite new too. The only thing is the area of the hotel is not in the shopping belt like Tsim Sha Sui and you need to take about 25 minutes MTR to reach Tsim for e.g. or 8 minutes to reach Causeway.

Excellent location, good places to eat v.close by and v.good supermarket just opposite. MTR so close meant getting anywhere near and far was a breeze even though we had a 5yr old and a toddler! Stayed in Junior suite which was a great size for us and meant we could bring in food for late dinner/breakfast. Had seperate living area so had lots room for a family. Lovely park just a stroll away for a lazy saturday which kids loved and super cityplaza mal very close by with all the stores you could want. Hotel has a shuttle for the mal but we walked.Only real negative was our double bed which was so hard it felt as if we were on a floor and 6nights of this was getting unbearable. Hubby would end up sharing with our 5yr old on the sofa bed just to get some sleep (and I would wake up as if I had gone a few rounds at WWF during the night).Didn't use hotel facilities but can get breakfast in diner opposite or even Mcdonalds a few mins walk away.MTR and tram at the door and the suite was a brilliant find esp at the price over the New Year period.Kids loved the travel as it was such a great location, good base for disneyland, peak and all major attractions.Would highly recommend if going to spend some time in Hong Kong.Had already spent few days in a citycentre hotel prior to this hotel, again in a large suite but this was better.Maybe check the matress as there is firm but this was definetely on the (rock)hard side.Overall for size (Junior Suite),price and location it was just brilliant.

Located next to an MTR exit and with attractively priced suites this is a convenient and good value hotel exprience. Above average sized room for a HK hotel. Service is ample and a good fit with the standard of the hotel. Well out of the Central to Wan Chai strip (but only 10 minutes away on the MTR) it offers a good taste of HK living. There are almost unlimited food and beverage options within easy reach of the hotel, so excellence in food and beverage are not necessary. HK is a vibrant and energetic environment. This is not a destination in which one needs to hide inside the hotel. Just metres from Exit C from the Quarry Bay MTR station. Fantastic. It's not the Grand Hyatt or Peninsula, but its a great value alternative if you are willing to travel an extra 10-15 minutes. I 'm yet to find a better value suite in a reasonable location on HK Island or Kowloon.

This hotel is not located near main business or shopping districts, but the shuttle service and proximity to public transportation make up for it. Just a note that it is also located right next to a funeral parlour, which may be a 'no-no' for some Asians. The size of the hotel room was pretty small, which is typical of most 3 or 4-star hotels in Hong Kong. The bathroom was good except that the sink was clogged and water leaked out from the shower unit whenever we showered. They fixed our sink but I guess they couldn't do anything about the shower door. There were very few food & beverage outlets in the hotel, and the bar was tiny. It would be hard for people who are not familiar with Hong Kong to get some food or a couple of drinks at night. Staff at the hotel were all quite friendly, but they seemed to have some problems in understanding English. Our luggage was not delivered until we told the Front Desk twice; the Housekeeping order-taker misunderstood some of our requests. However, I have to say that all the Room Attendants had excellent service attitudes. One last thing...the fitness centre in the hotel was closed for renovation during our visit, which was quite a disappointment for us. Even though we were offered to go to a nearby fitness centre, it was too much trouble to take a shuttle bus just to work out especially when the weather was bad. Wish we could have known this earlier, then we would not have brought too many gym clothes and shoes.

First class property. I have stayed there on business in the past and think its a very suitable mid level hotel. One criticism is that there are very few restaurants easily accessible at north point. Bit of an effort to find good eating. Apart from that very good.

The room (family suite) is big enough, Good furnishings and very clean. The view of Victoria Harbour is fantastic especially at night when the lighted cruise ships pass by. The shower area is quite small and there was water leak on the bathroom floor. Close proximity to MTR is a plus and the shuttle service is good, but far from commercial & shopping places. I would stay in this hotel again, preferably in the same room type.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed and a good bathroom. Like most hotels in Hong Kong, the room was on the small side. Good value for Hong Kong. The downside is that the location is not particularly interesting, although this is not a big problem in a city like Hong Kong, with its efficient public transportation. Hong Kong is an expensive city, so the HotelTravel rate was very reasonable.
