"Great find! This hotel has an excellent location, close to shops and public transport. The service was great - although we had to wait an hour for our room to be ready on arrival, the staff were most helpful and did their best to rectify the situation. The cafe at the lobby was the perfect alternative to "boring" hotel breakfasts. The rooms were well-furnished and was nice and quiet at night. Will definitely come back to the Excelsior on our next visit!!"

"We did try to dine at one of the Excelsior's restaurants, but each night they were busy. In fact it was rather disappointing as both evenings the restaurant had been booked out by a private function. We did however manage to eat at the English-style pub downstairs - great food, great service and if you're into your sports like we are, an opportunity to watch the Premiership and Six Nations Rugby! I'd defintely return, my only gripe being that the hotel restaurants weren't available to hotel guests."
