City Garden is a nice hotel. I have stayed in this hotel for the 15 years now and is very satisfied with the way they maintained their rooms and facilities.

Well presented hotel: courteous staff, excellent lunch buffet, free internet in room use,free late check out until 6pm - very impressed.

Location is awesome, low cost food nearby is plentiful, hotel has nice pool, bar. About 4 minutes walk or less to the MTR and tram (ding ding). Main coffee shop closed in March '06 for renovation, not sure when it re-opens. Rooms not the cleanest, but not a 'deal breaker'. Usually has good price, especially for room size. Business centre, charge for internet in room. Some wireless networks within range and that worked well for me. Try to get a 'park' side view. Many people practicing Qigong or Taichi in the morning in the park.

The reception staff were always all-smiles and ready to assist hotel guests. All of them showed professionalism and efficiency in their work. The room I stayed in was spacious, neat and well-equipped with all the amenities a traveller would need. Despite the fact that my room was on a smoking level, there was not a single trace of stench at all! Hotel facilities were good and well-maintained. The only thing I would wish for is the extension of operating hours of the swimming pool, sauna and fitness centre. Overall an excellent choice for both the leisure and business traveller.
