- need to replace shampoo - does not bubble; the Concierge waas very helpful; location nice as it is close to TImes Square and near market where you can buy fruits

Room was small (but probably average size for Hong Kong) and outdated. The room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Location was good as the harbour was an easy walk as welll as metro station. Very easy to catch a taxi or public transportation.

My stay at the Charter House was a thoroughly pleasant experience in every way! The concierge,Peter, speaks very good English and went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me in severeral ways. He physically escorted me to the bank/Atm to insure my safety, arranged my flight to Qingdao, had the air ticket delivered to the hotel for me and arranged my taxi to the embassy to get my visa and later to the airport. The front desk people were cordial and eager to assist in every way and before I left the manager greeted me and chatted with me in a very friendly rather than business like manner. I have already suggested to one of my friends that will be traveling through Hong Kong in March to stay at the Charterhouse and will continue suggesting it as a great hotel option in Hong Kong. Overall it was OK. but like any other hotel they raise the prices too much during the holidays. mini bar prices extremly high, internet charge $120HK/24 ...

The hotel was very nice, location great, breakfast was great room was very small but ok, requested double but got twins, I was by myself so that was fine, but I think for the price I should have at least gotten a double bed. Iwill stay there again.

The hotel was at a convenient location to hennessy road where the tram, buses and taxi are abundant. However, it may be a short walk to Times Square 6-8 mins( need to cross 2 small streets ), one must be prepared to walk another 10 mins to get to the mtr train. ( Even thou the entrance/exit of the MTR station is directly linked to Times Square, the underground walk to reach the trains is rather long.) But it is no doubt a very well-located hotel with 7-11 just a few doors away and dim sum restaurant a street ahead. I have no idea about the conditions of their other rooms eg. standard, superior,deluxe cos I upgraded to their S signature room. It was well decorated and much bigger than wat i expected, contemporary in design with an L-shaped writing table, open concept wardrobe area , small pantry. The bathroom was fantastic with double bowl vanity and I loved the rain shower, the size of the shower cubicle was big which can easily fit 2 adults comfortably. Being a designer myself, I think its rather worth the money for the details they took into consideration.There were Bedside lamps which can be adjusted when reading, bath robes and bedroom slippers for two. The LCD Tv was a good size and the bed was comfortable. I was rather irritated with the yellow window film they had on the window panels as it makes the whole room very yellowish in the day. No choice but to bear with it till evening. I suggest that they shd remove it. I also realised that the room I was given is the bigg

a conveniently located low budget hotel on Hong Kong Island for the short stay traveller. Good public transport facilities nearby and located within walking distance to attractions like the convention centre, the Star Ferry to Kowloon, the noon time gun and Victoria Park; even to downton and the Peak Tram. Clean rooms, friendly and efficient service, copious breakfast buffet included in the price. Lets you soak up the feeling of China in a Western setting.

the rooms are small but clean the staff were all very helpfull but i was not impressed with the hotel dining facility but that did not really matter because there are many many restraunts within easy walking distance that all serve excellent food but the location is also very good for visiting the main tourist attractions and shopping areas

One think I like the hotel is its closeness to a famous mall, the Time Square. The TV set is too old, it shall have more channels especially the satellite channelsl.The room rate is very reasonable, considering this is HK.Staff are friendly and speaks English well.
