A member of the sub-drenched Cyclades island group in Greece, Paros is known for its great tourist attractions and nightlife. The capital of Parikía town, is home to lovely, classically Cycladic-style houses with flat roofs, whitewashed walls and blue doors and window frames and shutters. Scattered around the town are Shadowed by citrus fruits like oranges and pomegranates. Also worth taking a look are the remains of a marble medieval castle, built almost entirely of the marble remains of an ancient temple. Three charming villages boasting rich history are Dragoulas, Mármara and Tsipidos.
