"The Delphi Acropole is a beautiful little traditional Greek hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly helpful staff. A pleasant all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast was included in our tariff of 65 Euro per night for a twin room with bathroom. The ancient archaeological sites and splendid museum are within easy walking distance, as are many shops and tavernas (cheap traditional restaurants). Our room overlooked the little cottage garden and had a small private balcony with magnificent views of the mountains, down the valley and across the Gulf of Corinth. We were woken in the mornings by the gentle sound of goat bells as the goats foraged over the nearby hills. Hotel facilities do not include a pool or health centre, but that's not what you go to Delphi for. The staff were happy to arrange anything we needed. The rooms along the front of the hotel have balconies overlooking the street. Ask for a high room with a view to the Gulf. "
