Staff was very helpfull, we arrived very early and the person at reception gave us a room immediatly. But apparently it was not the room who was planned for us and it was very small. We asked to change and left it with them, as we wanted to enjoy our day, but coming back in the evening no change was anymore possible. The room and the bathroom were very small, but I am sure they have nicer rooms. As the room was non-smoking and nicely quiet, the staff nice and helpfull, we still keep a good souvenir from the hotel. It is quite convenient to and from the airport and the center of the city, and good value as we are in the center of a main town.

Strong Beer Season: traditionally, monks in Munich would brew a strong and nutritious beer after Fasching which is supposed to help strengthen the bodies of Lenten fasters. Prominent breweries unveil the season's strong beer after Ash Wednesday, and the tradition continues over four weeks.
Walpurgis Festival: celebrated on the last evening of April throughout the towns and villages of the Harz Mountains, Walpurgis is a ghoulish event that bears a slight resemblance to Halloween. Some communities light bonfires to usher in the spring weather.
Munich's world renown beer festival originally began as a horse race, but is now a complete cultural celebration.
