Since Tannenbaum Hotel had made a mistake in the booking, I got a room at their sister hotel Herzog Wilhelm round the corner. This room was small as a cupboard. I addition to two narrow beds, there was a small table and a small chair. Toilet with shower was max. 2 square meters!! However, the room and bathroom were utmost clean. Lift was also small and often out of order, but I didn't mind walking the strairs to 5th floor for good exercise. This hotel is not suitable for handicapped customers. Breakfast buffet was an enjoyment. Overall this room was over-expensive to the level of comfort and particularly space offered. Tannenbaum Restaurant round the corner is really worth visiting, large choice of local / international delicacies. I would give Hotel Herzog Wilhelm 1 star, while Restaurant Tannenbaum would get 4 stars.
