My wife and I were pleasantly suprised about a number of things, most importantly; the hotel is well located - opposite the train station and a block from the old town entrance, the room was excellent value for money, the hotel itself was quite modern and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful, even if our original assistant's English was a little disjointed....

We found the Grand Hotel to be very well placed to enjoy the Christmas markets of Strasbourg. The hotel staff was friendly. The Grand Hotel has been around for quite awhile, but it is very well updated with nice services. Their wireless did not work for us on the fifth floor, but it worked fine on the ground floor. The breakfast buffet was very, very nice. Over all, it was well worth the cost.
