Being South African it was great to have such frienldy staff who could speak English and who were so helpful with all our questions about tourist attractions in Paris. Would definitely recommend it to friends!...

The room is bigger than expected. However, there was no hot water available for drinking. It is close to the metro, within 5mins walk from the hotel. The breakfast selection is limited but is considered a reasonable variety.

I came to Paris on 24 March 2008, and the location is quite good, but the room is really worth for budget travellers.

Quiet, clean, reasonably spacious and idealy situated for the metro and a stroll to the Moulin Rouge.
Breakfast was continental and not american and portions plentiful.
Someone from the hotel broke the seal on the mini bar, nothing appeared to be missing and on informing the desk on checking out there was no problem.
On my next visit i will be contacting this hotel first and will hopefully stay with them again.

Perfectly adequate small hotel in Paris. Quality staff from what we observed. A little pricey for the size of the room, but Paris prices have been drifting higher, so I can't really complain. This is a part of Paris I had not seen -- Above Opera, yet some distance from the Champs Elysees, at the Europe Metro station. It is close to major, world-class shopping at La Fayette. I'd stay there again. Our room was small and right above the street. But it was spotless with a good mattress. The staff helped us get oriented (to the nearest Metro stop) and quickly arranged a reasonably priced shuttle to get us to the airport the next morning. Warm, but very efficient. Checkout was very quick. The lobby and bar are nicely done. Don't know if there was a courtyard... The hotel is very close to the Europe Metro station, which is not on a major line, but two stops from Opera which connects to numerous lines. It is not next to Champ Elysees, or the Effel Tower, but it is a major part of the city that is worth checking out.
