This hotel is being redecorated and the rooms are lovely. The lobby and diningroom are somewhat oldfashioned but don't let this put you off. The staff are extremely helpful and the hotel itself is located in a fabulous part of the city. It is an extremely safe neigborhood, with delightful shops & restaurants around and a block away is the Gare de Lyon. However, the glazing is such that with the windows & doors closed most of the noise is blocked out, but then so it the ambience of Paris.

Room was unusually big for an European hotel. TV was brand new. Room was silent and bed extremely comfortable. I regret the lack of an internet connection in the room. Room not small , clean,new furniture . Only the cupboard was too little for two people. NO internet connection in the room. Friendly staff. Good american breakfast. No swimming pool. Near to Gare de Lyon, very easy to catch a taxi, Metro station very near.
