Location, price and service from hotel staff cannot be beat. 5 -10 minutes from many attractions or tour buses. We had a quiet room on 4th floor. Hotel is on Saint Roch between Rivoli and Honore. I am a hotel snob and often book 4-5 star hotels for vacation. Booked our 6 night trip in a superior room w/breakfast at this hotel based on traveler comments. We saved money, and accomodations exceeded my expectations for this 3 star small hotel. This was our first trip to Paris. Location, price and service from hotel staff cannot be beat. 5 -10 minutes from many attractions or tour buses. We had a quiet room on 4th floor. Hotel is on Saint Roch between Rivoli and Honore. I am a hotel snob and often book 4-5 star hotels for vacation. Booked our 6 night trip in a superior room w/breakfast at this hotel based on traveler comments. We saved money, and accomodations exceeded my expectations for this 3 star small hotel. This was our first trip to Paris. Hotel staff was fabulous in getting reservations for dinner and shuttle car back to airport as well as being very polite in answering my aunt's 1,000 questions. Room was pleasant, clean and quiet (all but Saturday night when there was something going on at the Tulleries which was a 1 minute walk from the hotel). Many other hotel guest were from USA, 30-75 yrs old and on return trips to Paris. English TV channels were limited to news which was adequate. Internet access is available w/french keyboard. Front desk staffed 24 hrs a day and we felt safe. You have to leave your room key when you leave hotel, but that was not an issue for us. Lift is quaint and sufficient for 2 people with 2 bags each. Breakfast is fresh and they have a person who services the breakfast room resetting tables and serving hot beverages - which is more than I expected. If you need basic clean, quiet and convenient accomodations this is the place to stay. Great boutique shopping in this area. Very close to Louvre, D'Orsay, Opera, Tullieries and Concorde Place, La Orangerie.
