we had heard that it was very hard to get a taxi first thing in the morning in paris and to book one well in advanced. Since our train was scheduled to leave at 9am we went down to the desk 24 hours before we needed a taxi to ask if they could reserve us one. The lady at the desk informed us that we only need to give her 15-20 minutes to get a taxi. The following morning we went and asked if she could get us a taxi she said it was very hard to get a taxi in the morning. She tried for 20 minutes and two different companies with no success. We ended up having to walk to the train station with all of our luggage. We were not very impressed with this service as we told her that we would need one first thing in the morning and she informed us that it wouldn't be a problem.
There was also a lot of renovations going on, which started very early in the moring. On the last day we were there the shower in the room above us started leaking into our room. Which no one at the front desk seemed to think was a problem.
