It is a good budget hotel located in a nice area of Paris. Near the hotel there are so many restaurants & shops that made our stay comfortable. The rooms are small but nice & clean. But the shower room is too small. The staffs are excellent & helpful. The free WI FI is an additional plus point. I would recommend this hotel who wishes to stay in an averagely priced clean, good hotel.

This was the best budget Paris hotel we've seen! Great location, english speaking friendly staff, nice small but perfectly clean room, no noise, free croissant + coffee and a snack box in the morning (I think this is a special offer valid till september 2009). Yes, a tiny bathroom and no wardrobe in the room, but perfect for a young couple visiting Paris for 3 nights. The only cons were the 5th floor (no elevator) and the water pouring down the sink way too slow. Apart from this, we would really recommend this newly redecorated hotel and would love to come back again if we'd visit Paris.

Room was small, no closet only a rail to hang cloths. The bathroom was tiny and the door couldn't open fully, being obstructed by the toilet. The shower was quite small with sliding doors closing at one of the corners. To enter the shower I had to enter side ways as there wasn't musch space between the doors. An over weight person wouldn't get into the shower. Then it was Paris, you get what you pay for.

The room was clean, very small, but cute and had everything we needed. Location was excellent, with shops, restaurants and metro all right at hand. Staff were friendly and very patient with our terrible French. The girl on the desk looked at our age and said if we waited she would get us a room on the second floor instead of the 6th! (no elevator, tiny staircase)

We had a fantastic stay! I would recommend this hotel to people who are just looking for somewhere to sleep at night. The room and bathroom is very small but very tidy and clean. Our room was cleaned and we were given fresh towels everyday. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was great, we had fresh pastry, bread, cereals, orange juice, yoghurt, tea and coffee. They would keep refilling the breakfast bar so there was always plenty to eat. The hotel is about 3 minutes walk to the Abesses Metro station which was very handy to get to and from the main tourist attractions. The area is great its within walking distance to Moulin Rouge and the Basillica Sacre Coeur. The only things we didnt like was that there was no elevator and it was noisy, you could hear people walking up/down the stairs and talking in the hallways.

Most: Useful Chatline with Hoteltravel.com for sortng out requests and payments etc. My girlfriend and I loved the location near beloved Montrmartre which has not lost its Bohemian atmosphere despite mass tourism. Hotel well situated between metro stations Abbesses and Blsanche, pictureswue walk up the steps of the Butte to Sacre Couer and Place du Tertre, variety of restaurants near hotel, typically French to Asian takeway neear hotel with great live music. Least: although I booked two months early, our room was on 5th floor with no lift, since the hotel was fully booked, although next day receiption offered us a room on 1st floor, we were already settled in. The rooms are a bit small, no shelves for clothes, though hangers for clothes. But facilities all worked, bathroom and TV and excellent room service with towels changed, beds made, room cleaned daily. Plenty for breakfast in "picturesque 'cave' breakrast room, but crammed if you breakfast late like everyone else in this full up hotel, so have breakfast early! Reception and staff helpful. I would stay there again -if Paris does not become over expensive. Tip for cheap metro ticket: unlimited travel starting every Monday for a week for 16 Euro, if you buy this 'Orange" ticket Sunday evening to start Monday. Evening cabaret: forget nearby touristy and overpriced Moulin Rouge (min 79 Euro) except for an outside photo at dusk. Try Chez Ma Cousine evening cabaret orTire Buchon piano songs with Breton cider and galette

The location is great, we didnt wait more than a minute for a metro the whole weekend so very quick to get into the centre of paris. the rooms are very basic but just what we needed. beware lots of places are closed on a monday - there are lots of good little shops near the hotel. there is a fab little french restaurant just opposite - real friendly! Smaller room than it looks on the pictures but very clean. Really friendly and helpful staff, especially the night porter, considering we were delayed and turned up on a sunday night at midnight he was very polite and smiley! Around the hotel is very nice, great restaurant just across the road very small from the outside but amazing food. Nice little breakfast room downstairs. So easy to get into town, in the nice end of Montmartre away from the seedy bars, 4 mins walk from the sacre coeur, lots of good little shops and restaurants nearby, and not too touristy. So close to the metro, very easy to get around even till quite late at night.
