Rated #116 for all Paris hotels
This was a very clean and extremely comfortable hotel. It's dated but in the midst of a major facelift. Large, clean, overlooking lovely court yard. In need of renovation, but clean, warm and comfy. All a man needs. Location in Paris could not be better. Staff were friendly and polite. A tad pricey but thats Paris!! Large Room(410) in need of slight work. Clean, Warm, Comfortable in a Central scenic location. All my needs were satisfied to a maximum. Pool and Gym were good.
Typical tasty french food. Typical french prices. Staff were more than helpfull with the few question we asked them. Ver...

We booked 4 rooms during our family reunion. All of them have not been renovated. The carpets and furnitures are old. The air conditioning were not working in two rooms. One room was upgraded and it was ok. The other one was not because of the hotel is fully booked. They promised to deliver a fan but it was not delivered until one in the morning. I don't think the rooms are not up to the average standard if renovation has not been done. The breakfast and the restaurant service are good. The lobby looks great.

on arrival we were given room 626 which was a dark little pokey hole. i would have rated the room as a poor 2 star. the air con didnt work and after a lot of haggling we were changed to a bigger brighter room but the carpet was filthy and the bathroom was decorated in the 70s. the only advantage was location which was wonderful

the hotel location was excellent for getting around to sightsee, metro 2 minutes away and lovely park opposite which housed the Louvre gallery. The hotel was clean and well presented and staff were helpful although rather slow. on the negative side the
hotel restaurant was closed for refurb and we were not given prior notice of this, i feel we should have had a small discount. the food and drink prices in the hotel were extremely high. Room was quite nice but rather small. having said that i would stay there again as compared to friends experiences in other hotels i feel it was a good choice. there is also a really good chinese restaurant right opposite which is well worth a visit.
