Rated #48 for all Paris hotels
This is the best value for a four star boutique hotel in paris.the metro and train RER line is just 5minutes away.Monoprix(grocery) is also 7minutes away.Paris metro is very efficient and reliable hence, metro stop like opera are on the same line as the hotel(metro:Periere) where you can switch line to most of other places and galeries lafayette also only few stops away on the same line.
The hotel uses L'occitane in their bathroom,my wife love it.The ambience, the people ,the convenience are hard to beat.If i must say,the only drawbacks i find is they dont have coffee and tea making facility...

Great stay at the Ampere... and great value for money. Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle to find great local restaurants, but close enough to everything. Room was clean, staff were helpful and location great - we are already planning our next stay there.

Lovely hotel, not as close to the centre as one might like - but actually a relief to be away from the melee and onlt 15 mins stroll to Arc de Triomphe. Hotel staff very friendly, bar and garden very pleasant and breakfast was excellent.
Bistro 17eme down the road is excellent. With the hotel and Bistro you couldn;t ask for more.

i requested a non smoking room and ending up on the only smoking floor in the hotel.Although the room itself did not smell of smoke there was a stronge smell of smoke on the floor. One of the mornings we came down at 9:15 to breakfast and there was no tables set, no cups, glasses or hot food left, even though breakfast was served until 10:00 every other morning. There was no availability for a cup of tea or coffee on the sunday evening. The door on the wardrobe was broken. the room we were in was smoking and had cigarette burns in the carpet. i requested a non smoking room. Three of the mornings breakfast staff made sure there was enough of everything until 10:00 but on the last morning there were no clean tables left, no cups or glasses, no juice or hot food left and it took 40 mins to get them! The staff that morning were very rude also. there was no way of getting a cup of tea/ coffee sunday evening or when restaurant was closed.
we eat in restaurants in the surrounding areas as the hotel menu was limited and very expensive, and had awkward hours. the hotel was very close to metro line, short walk from champs elysee and had plenty of bars/ restaurants / shops close by, and the area felt very safe.

I must admit I had doubts about the qualiy and location of the hotel as it seemed so cheap compared to so many others. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was in a fantastic location only 15 mins walk to Arc Di Triomphe, the rooms were clean, bathroom was a good size not too poky. We had three to a room and sill had ample room. Would definitely stay there again.

The continental breakfast food was excellent. However, we had to wait for staff to replenish plates, juice, coffee, eggs on the buffet. Seemed like either the amounts needed were underestimated or there wasn't enough staff to keep up with demand.

Nice hotel. Better than average in Paris for hotels of this size. I will certainly go back next time.
