On the positive side - The hotel was first class and every member of staff from management to the house maids were very friendly, helpful and polite. The room was excellent and the facilities were very good. Our seven night stay included breakfast and although the menu was repeated everyday there was a large enough selection to choose from. Arrival from the airport is very easy and the public transport to and from the hotel is first class. We would definitely go back to the hotel.

The hotel is about a 20 min walk to the seafront. There is a tram stop opposite and it is an excellent service. We booked a superior room which was a smoking room on the 6th floor. The bathroom was rather tired and could do with a makeover - especially the tiling around the bath. No safe in bedroom. The reception and restaurant staff were excellent. There is a lovely garden just off the restaurant and a nice terrace at the front where you can sit and watch the world go by.

Arrival from the airport is very easy and the public transport to and from the hotel is first class. We would definitely go back to the hotel.
On the negative side - When we arrived at the hotel we upgraded from a standard to a classic room which cost an extra 15 euros per night. Even at that level there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room which you would expect even in a moderate UK bed and breakfast. Like most hotels there was a mini bar in the room but the prices were extortionate so we didn't use it.
The pool and sun lounge are an excellent facility however two nights of our stay it was closed off for private functions from 3.30pm onwards and we were asked to leave the area which we found really annoying as that facility was something which helped us to choose the hotel.
That said, we had a very enjoyable stay.
