Apart from the two friendly lady receptionists every other aspect of our stay was not very pleasant. The night manager (male) was so grumpy and unfriendly and the steward who looked after the breakfast (when we could find him) was unfriendly and uncommunicative. The Lift: oh I doubt whether the management staff ever use the lifts. There is foul stench inside the lift that almost choked us. It is as if you have visited a public toilet. I suspect (backed up by the sound of water flowing from an open pipe) that the sewerage pipe within the lift well was broken and leaking. We stayed there for 3 days, surely if they were interested they could have fixed it. We (and most guests) took the stairs when we could i.e. not carrying goods. Then there is the breakfast, which is very very ordinary. A roll, a croissant, a small block of butter and jam. And there were double standards. The tables for the groups had a plate containing 3 slices of Salami and 3 slices of cheese. One morning we walked in early and found about 30-40 tables laid out with breakfast. As we were the first we occupied one closest to the window and one that had two places set up. However, we noticed that our table and 2 other places did not have the plate of salami and cheese. Assuming that they were still in the process of setting up and since no one was around to ask we picked up one plate from an adjoinging table. We were almost through finishing with our breakfast when 'a manager' walked up and spoke to us in a ra
