The Carlton Lille was so much more than I had expected. First of all I had checked different websites for booking the Carlton and Hoteltravel.com gave me the lowest price (much lower than any other). However, Hoteltravel.com didn't give me the option of upgrading thru it's website, I wrote a note asking for one if possible. When we arrived at the hotel Carlton the staff were incredibly polite and they had given us a FREE room upgrade. I was astonished to find that a hotel of this quality charged 22 euros minimum for connection to the internet, even if it was for 24 hours. Other similar hotels provide this service inclusive in the room rate.
