One of the rooms we were given was very poor with very little light and no window that opened. When we said this was unacceptable the concierge quickly allocated another room which was of the same standard as the other booked rooms. If we stay at this hotel again I think we will book an executive room not a standard one. The location was perfect and the staff very helpful and friendly....

Centrally located. Good attentive reception on arrival with explanation of position of hotel with map provided and description of public transport close by. We chose basic room price, but plenty of space, green (as opposed to the frequent brown in France) decor and very adequate. Rooms overlooked pedestrian thoroughfare, so a bit noisy at night, but higher priced rooms inward facing and would have been quiet. Two lifts. Pleasant light breakfast room with self service and very adequate choices. Good value for money. Would be quite happy to be there again.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel - first, the room had bugs. Our son was covered with bug bites. When we complained the person at the front desk said, " Bordeaux doesn't have bugs!" We didn't recieve the final receipt because the printer wasn't working. The room faced the street and the noise was very loud into the night. The location was great but that was the only benefit.
