The hotel overall was much better than I expected and was located conveniently near the station and the trams. The staff were superb and reception not only provided answers to many questions they also provided a map and suggested a route around the main attractions. This friendly service was further improved in that the staff made you feel like a guest rather than just a room. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were compact but functional however the benefit was that this gave slightly more space in the room. The TV service was basic and in French but we didn't go ...

The TV service was basic and in French but we didn't go to watch TV so it wasn't an issue. Breakfast was OK, although there were probably more economical options available. The breakfast times were also very clear that the breakfast room closed at 9:30 and they expected you to have finished at that point. The hotel also allows bags to be stored which meant on our last day we were able to check out, leave our bags with the hotel and have another half a day sight seeing rather than having to lug a suitcase around. Overall a pleasant friendly hotel which I would certainly consider returning especially given the pricing and the quality of the staff.
