Cannes Film Festival

The Cannes Film Festival maintains its place as the world’s premier event in the word of film. Held in May of each year in this glitzy resort on the French Riviera, attendees include the most prominent names in producers, directors and stars. The film voted best in the festival is awarded the coveted Golden Palm (palme d'or).
