Regarding question no 2 above. The size of the room was appallingly tiny. Our view was a wall about 2ft away from the window. We seemed to be up in the attic. The hotel itself was very clean . The furniture was in good condition. The bathroom was in good. It was average size and spotlessly clean. Room so tiny we only discovered we had coffee making facilitities the morning we were leaving (it was hidden away in drawer) SPACE WAS SO TIGHT IN THE ROOM. The breakfast was good value. The location of the hotel is ideal. Food in the bar was expensive , bad value for money. Would consider staying there again if guaranteed a decent size room with view other than a wall.
The room was appallingly tiny. The bathroom was almost as big as it. Very cramped space for two small people. there was slight smell of dampness in the corridor. We didnt use all the facilities. We dined in the bar and found it expensive for what we got.
I had a chicken caesar salad. It comprised of 4 thin slices of chicken, lettuce (lots of it) and shavings cheese. Very expensive for a plate of lettuce. The service was very slow. Our waitress was very friendly.
The service was very slow in bar. We waited 20 minutes to be served our order.
Good choice of restaurants, shop on same street and all excellent value & quality. Our bathroom was spotlessly clean with good quality towels etc. Bedlinen was fresh and good quality.Ladies Room in Lobby was first class.
the receception staff were very
