This is a beautiful, clean, modern hotel based in a beautiful and historic building in the centre of London. The entire experience was fabulous, from check in to leaving. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful, clean, well equipped and comfortable, with a view over the river to the London Eye opposite. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of staff running round, tidying and replenishing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would certainly return there myself....

We paid for a 'delux' room instead of the 'standard' and were very dissappointed. Of the two windows in the small room, both faced 3 brick walls, and nothing else. Try looking at nothing but a brick wall! Not nice. Because of this, the room had to have all the lights on even during the daylight as there was absolutely no natural light. The room was tastefully decorated, but tiny. And the bed was smaller than a standard double. I'm only 5ft 10", and my feet were hanging over the edge. I pressume that at some point our room would have been either a storage room or staff quarters- they should have kept it that way. For the price we paid, it was awful.
