Breakfast was absolutely incredible, if you couldn't find something that you loved then you are very hard to please.

The staff behind the desk need to be able to communicate in English.The lady serving had quite poor communication skills. We were not told we needed passports as proof of I.D.when we arrived at the hotel and were told we had to go back and get them. One person was from Scotland. The person behind the desk could not see pass the fact that this was impossible and would not use a photocopy of my passport as proof of identification. Eventually someone more senior (and more reasonable) dealt with the situation. There was no record of the booking either.
The cleaning staff on the other hand could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Thank you for hoteltravel.com for the incredible deal I have been offered at this hotel. The pricetag of 52 GBP per night including room service continental breakfast (juice, tea, croissants, bun, jams, yoghurt and a cake!) is just amazing for a big international flavour hotel such as this. Access to the hotel is very convenient with Hammersmith tube just being a 3 minute walk away - the immediate area is rather deserted though with restaurants and shops being in a 10 min walk away only. My only nuisance wa that my request of non-smoking room did not go through my reservation once again so I had to rely on my luck regarding the room again with a not all too friendly staff- all was well in the end.

Hotel room amenities could be better: phone is on writing desk and not on bedside table; no bathrobe or slippers provided; wardrobe space is not much; channels on TV are limited - international news was hard to come by.
Location is very near underground station with direct connection to Heathrow as well as central London areas, near to several restaurants and shopping areas. Food in the restaurant was good.
Got a very good price booking through HotelTravel.com, which made it overall good value for money.

My concern was with details, a lift that was out of order for most of one day, a couple of times my swipe card failed in my lock. Not enough to stop me going again and i would hope these were one offs.
Overall a pleasant experience in an ordinary hotel lifted by staff who were that little extra special in their attitude to the customer.
