The bar staff were not in the least bit friendly and their manner highly unprofessional making us feel quite uneasy. The reception staff were delightful. The staff in the breakfast room were businesslike, not friendly. Would think twice about staying in this hotel again, merely based on the manner of the staff there. The facilities themselves were excellent, as was the locatiFor a 5 star hotel we expected more space in the room. It felt very cramped.on.
Swimming pool, beauty room, relaxation room, squash courts were as was advertised. The service in the bar area was appalling, and we felt very uncomfortable and only sat for one drink. The breakfast we found either over/under cooked. However the cereals and fruit were on par with other hotels. The selection of breads was a plus. The location of the hotel is excellent in that it is in close proximity to all bus, taxi, and rail travel, as well as the prime attractions of london.
