great location for Gatwick Express and tube link around london. low floor rooms at front got noise from rubbish collection point of railway. high floors fine. would definitely stay in again. breakfast excellent....

The only thing I can complain about is the absence of a proper wardrobe and too small a dresser.

I liked the overall quality and level of comfort offered by the Hesperia Victoria hotel. Considering the price I paid (around 75 Euro for a double room) compared to the average price level of hotels in Central London, my conclusion is 'excellent value for money'.

rooms were quite small and we had scaffolding directly outside our window on the 5th floor which was still a bit noisy. 2 nights at the end of November and no heating was by far the biggest issue and worst point of the weekend away for my 6 year old daughter's birthday. We slept with our clothes on the first night as it was -1 degrees outside. When we complained the following morning nothing was done. Later that evening on our return we demanded to see the manager. They put a heater into the room but it didn't work, they then put another one in saying that the hotel was experiencing problems with the heating and apologised. They gave us a bottle of wine to compensate, but for a 4 star hotel to know they had heating problem and not to respond quicker to our complaint was very poor. The pool was great but the changing rooms seriously needs some renovation. Breakfast and Bar area good. Won't go back though
