The Hotel is clean and pleasant with good modern facilities and nice spacious common rooms and main floor. Breakfast was best yet and included full english breakfast with freshly baked pastries and a chef ready to make more of what is needed. Comfortable and clean rooms. Numbering system is confusing. Main floor is considered ground floor and all the rooms first floor up are all 200 series. Number them 100 if you want to call that the first floor or call the ground floor the main floor and next floor up second floor to keep same numbering system. Only one major problem was locating the Hotel ...

- Location reachable only by car, next bus connection 20 mins walk, trip to city center by public transport takes about 90 min; - non-smoking room smelled as strongly smoked during whole stay, as hotel was booked very well no other room has been available; - breakfast, staff, cleanliness and room good - price is reasonable for such a hotel in a peripheral location

Only one major problem was locating the Hotel sonce there was no indication it was off the main highway in a services exit. We had to back track a distance to find it as exit were spaced out and it took a while. Get directions from the hotel with specific details before driving. General whereabouts is not good enough. would definetly go back now that we know where it is. Your own transprtation is necessary but based on our early booking price--value was the best is our 9-day England visit.

Breakfast was only available after 06.30, this was too late for me.It should be available at least as early as 06.00.At about 03.00,noisy refuse lorry emptying bins outside my window awoke me in the middle of the night.

Staff should routinely offer smoking rooms which are available as many of the non smoking rooms now smell of stale smoke due to the smoking ban in public areas pushing people into smoking in their rooms. It is also deeply unpleasant to have to walk through a smoke fog as you enter the hotel as there are always smokers standing in the doorway. I've never been asked if I want a smoking room so I guess the smokers wouldn't be either and they wouldn't necessarily know that smoking rooms are available.

ive been using this hotel for 3 years , twice a year and it is the only hotel that i use in london .a bit away from the underground but close to the M1 and the M25 which takes you anywhere around england . friendly and helpful staff and a bargain for what you pay compared with other hotels in london . great rooms with magnificent bathrooms , very clean indeed . the one and only london hotel that i will use year in and year out . london days the only hotel on my lips whilst in london. the rooms are big and roomy very comparable to australian and USA motels. got everthing there except a good restaraunt. fair breakfast but bad dinner. Location not for everyone a bit of distance from underground but good for me. well planned garden and surrounds.

Best value if travelling to London and located adjacent to the M1. Be prepared for a taxi ride to the underground station and a half hour ride on the tube into the centre of London. Would definitely go again! Located next to a motorway and a train line. Very accessible though, being beside the M1.

Stayed in this hotel last year and a return visit confirmed it as fantastic value for money ..clean and spacious and lots of parking but would only suit travellers with their own transport as it is nowhere near any public facilities or transport..yet only 5 minutes from Brent Cross by car

the location of the hotel is not for everyone as it is some distance from the london underground and about an hour from the centre of london . its value is for driving around england as it is a stone throw from the M1 that leads you into the M25 Orbital and the A1 motorway . its 1 hr from stansted and 1/2 to luton for those quick getaways to europe . lunch in rome and afternoon tea in paris and so on . the hotel is supurb with a friendly outlook to it and helpful staff . very big rooms and wonderful bathrooms . very modern and with excellent parking . thoroughly recommended for the above .

Excellent stopover for those with transport. The rooms are excellent and I have had worse in 4* hotels ,the breakfast was also good but for the cost the place was fantastic...but only if you have you're own transport as it is on the motorway albeit not far from the end. Thoroughly reccomended.

Was given a twin room (for father and 18-year-old child) although booking didn't specify. Excellent value, since hoteltravel rate included two buffet British breakfasts, list price £10 each, for considerably less than the usual Days Inn room-only rate. Very clean and new-looking. Only niggles: some disturbance from railway line at the rear (or at the front, probably, from the M1 highway); and strangely springy beds - but we're used to hard Continental/Nordic styles.

Room sizes are excellent and so is the overall service from the staff. The only negative is the parking - having stayed at this hotel many times in the past few months I have on a number of occasions seen that vehicles had been broken into, but thankfully not my own. Sadly, you do need a vehicle for this hotel as it is situated on the London Gateway Services of the M1, but I rate the experience as terrific value for money. Breakfast is an excellent buffet arrangement - and is second to none.

The size, quality, and cleanliness of the rooms is just amazing, before you take in to account the tremendouse value. together they give you a bargain price for a luxury room. The only downside is the furniture is a little sparse, there is hanging space and shelves, open plan - no draws. The bathrooms are not to befound at this quality for this price anywhere else in the UK. This hotel though is not for tourists without a car as it is on the perifery of London, on the highway and cabs to the hotel are going to be very expensive. If you have a car though it is perfect as parking space is plenty, free and secure.

The whole experience at the hotel was excellent. For the price, it was very good value for money. I have only one complaint. Originally, I booked three rooms, however, two days before the date of reservation I had to cancel one room. I telephoned the hotel to ask if my money for one room would be refunded, and they said I would need to talk with the agent i booked through. The agent said i would need to ask the hotel. I still haven't had an answer either yes or no to my query. Still waiting......................

INFO: Next bus stop is Apex Corner, about 10-15 Min from the hotel. Bus Line 133 to Oxford Circus is appr. 50-60 Min. I will definitely book this hotel again. It was the best deal for the money. Everything was nice!

If you rent a car then it's good place to stay. If you travel by train or by foot then choose some other hotel. Breakfast is very good, but all the time the same breakfast.
