Rated #178 for all London hotels
Rooms were very practical for their size, staff was extremely friendly, location was perfect and the price was more than worth the offered. A very pleasant and clean hotel in a very nice neighbourhood of London. Our "only-girls" trip to London was made even more pleasant due to our stay at The Corus Hotel....

For the price there should have been a mini fridge in the room. Cleanliness and housekeeping very good.

There was some unclarity regarding my original booking (had booked a twin room with separate beds - a double room was offered). However, the hotel handled the misunderstanding in a very pleasant manner and the outcome was positive from my point of view.

I spent about 4 hours on the net trying to get a room with breakfast included for less than £200! Difficult task! The original room allocated to us here was well decorated, modern, good furnishings etc, but extremely small and very hot (no air con). With a tiny bathroom it reminded me of cabin on a passenger ferry! The staff upgraded us without question at no extra cost, to a slightly larger room with air con. The room was ok but decor was outdated, it had a much older and less comfortable bed and the bathroom again was no more than 'compact.' I thought I had paid for a full cooked breakfast for us but instead we had the continental buffet which was just about adequate (check your confirmation - mine read 'daily breakfast included.') We were only there for one night so it suited our needs but generally quite disappointing and I wouldn't recommend it without a few caveats.

we were very disappointed with the rooms. they were so small and very stuffy no airconditioning. The double bed was pushed up against the wall and no room to move.

The breakfast was very poor. They served every morning two kinds of juice, coffee, tea, croissant, bread, one kind of sausage and cheese, butter, marmeleide. Internet was extremetly expensive. Staircase to ground floor smelled terrible. After all the hotel was nice and had a great location.

No air-conditioning or indeed fans in some rooms. The rooms are small although clean. Some staff are poorly trained. It was wonderful to meet at least one who was exceptional and she was trained in Asia. Not up to expectations.
