This is a fantastic hotel - I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting London. Had a fantastic meal in the alfresco cafe at the hotel... was delicious steak and fries for 10 Pound - great value and huge meal!...

A pleasant but characterless hotel in a good, quiet and central location. No bath in the room, just a shower which was dissapointing after a long journey. Make sure you ask for a Club room if you want a bath.

10-15 min walk to nearest tube station (Pimlico) - it's worthwhile checking out the buses that go past the door

The room was good. However it's quite a walk to public transport. Breakfast was excellent. However there is a very strange policy at the hotel - they do not have a medical kit for emergencies. I had a muscle pull / sprain in the middle of the night (around 4am). The hotel did not have any pain relief sprays. When I asked them to get me some kind of spray I was informed the hotel does not have a medical kit for emergencies nor can they arrange for it. I will have to go get it myself even if I could not walk. All they can give me is a spray for burns and I asked them how can I use a burns spray for a muscle pull. I can understand that you do not keep tablets because consuming / selling pills without a prescription is not permitted in UK. but a pain relief spray is easily available. Moreso the hotel should keep a spray because they have a gym and you can always have a muscle sprain while exercising. Also to let you know - the nearest pharmacy is about 25 minutes walk / 12 minutes taxi ride from the hotel. I found this to be very strange.
