Lovely hotel, personable staff, however, the water was switched off at 11.30pm for 1 hr for maintainance; as residents we were never informed, but having bought a drink at 10.30pm we were told to leave the bar at 11.15. Fire alarm went off at 1.20am, no need to evacuate. Next morning the hot water was cold. No reduction made to our bill, just the offer of an upgrade next time, equal to what is available on the internet. What a shame, a lovely stay spoilt.
