We arrived at the hotel to be told that they did not have a booking for us.The receptionist rang the number you gave but could get no satisfaction.They were told that the booking had been cancelled. I was assured that I had not been charged and I booked another room.Perhaps you could explain why this mistake arose. We could have been left high and drynas it was the weekend of the Grand National and all the hotels were full.We were not amused.
