The enviroment such as pools and beaches were exellent. Staff good if You tip them 1 US dollar every day under the ashtray. Service fast, when You would mend something (e.g.exchange of lamps, stop in plumping). Hotel 9 years old and some rooms are a little bit worn out. However on the whole we like our visit on Sol Y Mar Charming Inn Hotel. We did not pay very much for a week, so we got value for money....

this hotel is not a four star compared to other 4* I've stayed in while in egypt. location is fine 5 mins from naama bay in taxi. Il mercata is five min walk full of restaurants shops however still being built. old market is 5 mins in taxi. hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. hotel does need updating I think. Food was excellent good variation. Pool not as clean as it should be. Room had air con did actually worked very well. bed linen changed daily and good supply of towels. tv small mini bar. bottled water not great which you have to buy or fill your water bottled from a chilled dispenser, again didn't taste great. rooms are cleaned daily however not to a good standard again like I say the hotel needs updating. I saw a few cockroaches in the hallways but they were dealt with by whatever cleaning agent they used. BAsically I got what I paid for with this hotel but I would not stay here again
