Rated #7 for all Luxor hotels
Staff in dining area were great.
The room we had had a good view but overlooked the street which probably made it more noisy...............but that is Egypt.
Room have good size & clean. Dining facilities , bar, access to tours. Front desk quite helpfull & waiter at dinner was great. Welcome drink on arival. Help with tour advice. Food good variety & quality.
Hotel cleanliness good based on our experience elsewhere in Egypt.
Location excellent, right by the Corniche. All forms of local transport pass the door.
Based on 16 days in Egypt it was above average.

I stayed here for about a month while I was working in Luxor. It's a clean hotel in a great location, for incredibly cheap prices. The air conditioning goes out sometimes, but they deal with complaints quickly. The rooms on the street side are noisy, but the rest of the hotel is pretty quiet and many rooms have Nile views. The hotel is very close to everywhere you would want to go as a tourist including the Luxor temple, internet cafe, grocery store, restaurants, and the Nile. My only complaint was that breakfast there was just awful. Breakfast was disgusting...and recycled from day to day.
Lots of public microbusses, taxis, carriages, etc are available right outside the front door.

This is without doubt one of the worst hotels I have stayed at and I have been to over 45 different countries. The hotel lost our reservation and blamed us for them losing it despite the fact that we put a copy of it infront of them. Finally after the receptionist found the reservation but still blamed us for him losing it. Go figure!
We had 3 rooms. The showers didnt work properly in any of them.
Whilst one of the children was using the internet kiosk near reception she heard 7 people complain about various things within the space of 15 minutes - including being overcharged.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The attitude is appalling and ruined for us what should have been a nice relaxing time in Luxor.
Hotel has bar, restaurant, swimming pool (which I never even looked at), pool table (charged at £20 per hour). Foyer shop is extremely expensive. £5 for a chocolate bar that can be purchased from a shop outside at £1.50.

As I only stayed one night before catching an early train, I don't have a lot to say. However, my stay was very pleasant. Lovely vestibule, friendly clerks, nice room with balcony, nice and clean bathroom, good bed, ample and good breakfast. Very good value for money!
