Rated #6 for all Luxor hotels
Spacy room with an excellent Nile view. Large and clean pool area and garden, choice of resraturants. Staff was very friendly starting from reception. Good and tasty food. Overall cleanliness it was ok. Even there were no playground, children were happy with pools and running around the garden and stairs.
Part of the bigger pool was separated for kids. The water could have been heated during the winter season, now it was too cold even for children. With the variety of food for children there was always something for them.
We were very happy for choosing Pyramisa. Even we could consider it...

It's a good hotel with great swimming pool and Nile view. Very clean and in a good area. However, rooms are noisy because they face the street

Had a small problem that took 3 hours but received a discounted Nile View upgrade and we expended our stay by another 2 nights. Special thanks to Mr Amr Temerick (Front Desk Manager) whom ensured we were well looked after. Would stay again !!!

at4. got some tummy troubles;so kitchen hygiene may need a review
at6.There was noise and fumes from the parked nile cruisers,a def. negative
Also my room window did not lock havinmg seen prev. damage and I reported it to management who rectified it;I would say this hotel is overall struggling to justify b4star status...

We were very happy for choosing Pyramisa. Even we could consider it as a four star hotel, it was well value for money.
By the Nile and liitle outside the town hassle. Excellent for families with kids.

The hotel badly needs rennovation to a higher standard if it is going to market itself as 5 or even 4 star.If you want to stay in a 5 start hotel in Luzor - Maximum rating we would give this hotel is 3 stars. Staff are ill-disciplined,unmotivated, food was cold, choice was poor, room had no air conditioning - not fixed even after persistent requests, pool area was filthy, loungers collapsing, the only good thing going for it was it's location. Managers should manage the staff porperly - not through giving them orders - staff are not empowered and every request for anything had to go through several layers of staff- and hence the time taken to get anything fixed. Unfortunately would not go back to this hotel for all the tea in china.
Furnishings were old and threadbare. Air conditioning didn;t work, desptie several requests, had to move rooms. Carpet unclean. Pool wsa not clean - leaves and rubbish on the top and the walking area was dirty. Internet cafe was a joke - pcs didn;t work - when pointed out that the mouse was broken the receptionsit shrugged her shoulders and told me to go to an internet cafe. No tour desk - just a lady seeling balloon trips. Staff didnt seem to care or be bothered - seemed so many staff doing absolutely nothing. They were falling over each other and didn;t give you attention. I spoke to the receptionust and whilst speaking to her someone else came up to her and she turned away from me - charming! Breakfast was the same and the choice was poor - evening meal was cold even though buffet had just opened. Restaurant was dark and depressing - tablecloth was always dirty. Main area was ok but because of the smoking tolerance was not prepared to sit in smoking area. Close to othere good htoels so could go somewhere else for a decent meal.
Fairly close to town so could go to the sights from the hotel fairly easily.
Would have been nice to have a tour desk.

Overall this hotel was the best we stayed in during our travels through Egypt in terms of location. During the day it's a walk away from the Nile boardwalk and downtown. At night it's a short taxi ride away (safer). Make use of the vendors right outside the hotel to direct you to the excellent places to hang out in the evenings. The streets are quiet after 11pm but there are many hidden gems for cafes and restaurants right around the corner where you can really experience the vibe of Luxor.
The hotel itself had all the basic necessities that we needed. It had nightly entertainment and a constant buzz..
