the noice from the heavy traffic until late night was unbearable as my room was at the 1st floor. i requested for a room at the higher floor but was told unavalable. there is no swimming pool, fitness centre comes with extra charges (unlike other hotels) and wifi, which was slow, only available at the hotel lobby area.

I stayed at this hotel approx 3 years ago - it has gone down hill a lot - needs total re-firbishment the matresses and pillows are dreadful furniture in rooms is chipped and wornout make sure if u stay here u are not put on 9th floor u have to go up and down stair to get to the tioled (approx 8) Reception is dreadful just do not listen we requested a king or queen bed just did not seem to get it - it too days we changed rooms 5 times not one had the bed size we requested - it is a lovely old hotel and great location it is a shame that the rooms and staff are far below average except for our old friend- he is great - Think twice about booking this hotel if u want a good room with a comfortable bed After that the food in the Asia house rest is prob the best I have ever eaten in Egypt

convenience is the best thing about this three star hotel. They show it as a 4 star - not!!! Room was big but noisy as we were on first floow. No hairdryer in bathroom;beds were low qualilty. Staff does not speak very good English, which should be expected in a hotel this large that draws so many tourists.

Do not trust prices in the restaurant, they are spiced up with service charge, tax, they charge you for terrible live music that nobody wants, etc.
The "stars" that this hotel has are obviously from 30 years ago...
The scenery at the breakfast is a mess, it takes over 1 hour until you get a tea, cutlery is missing, no milk for cereals, etc.
The conference facilities are fine, but WLAN is not working and you do not get any support for this.
