The main palace building is beatiful - with excellent restaurants, particularly the Indian.
It's proximity to the Pyramids and facilities for local visits etc. is also fabulous - very friendly and intellegent tour guides.
The staff at the Golf Club also deserve a particular mention for friendliness, welcoming and attention. Room in the Palace wing - although not overlooking the pyramids was very comfortable - high ceilings and good facilities. Room in the Palace wing - although not overlooking the pyramids was very comfortable - high ceilings and good facilities. The fact that it was in the Palace itself makes the difference (across from the most expensive suites in the building!) There is nothing missing and the layout and cleanliness great. The attention to customer service is excellent - in restaurants and the front desk, the assistant manager, the tour arrangers. How could you want for more - a view over the pyramids - even in walking distance - great photos from the golf course! The indian restaurant is second to none we have experienced - or maybe on a par with the Oberoi next to the Taj Mahal! Could not fault about clealiness - plus fresh flowers everywhere - very attractive.
Excellent pick up and drop off service - even met before passport control and helped through. Also local Misr travel ioffice very helpful - great tour guides.
Even though popular for many functions, sound levels in the palace room we stayed in were very low. Cooperative, friendly, willing to accommodate specific requests. Location is everything - the pool area and service is excellent and beautifully maintained
