Hotel prices have gone up in Cairo and there are no longer any great bargains. For $90 per room per night, the Baron Hotel was a reasonably priced, adequate option. No frills, small rooms, and friendly but inefficient staff. Decent buffet breakfast included.

unfortnately not good experience at Baron Hotel, while the location is very good and quiet for Cairo, the service and hotel facilties are poor. Issues with room service, bathroom, breakfast, coffee shop...Friendliness of the staff very average for Egypt, hotel in general clean. To recommend for travellers looking for quiet place in Cairo and cheap price but who are not sensible for quality of service and hotel facilities. Do not expect too much for a 4 stars ranking.
