Rated #3 for all Aswan hotels
This was an excellent stay in a beautiful spot, on a quiet island in the Nile River. The rooms were large and clean. Ours had a lovely view of the garden and the Nile. The complimentary boat to the mainland was great. The included breakfast buffet was very satisfactory. Our only dislike was that we used the $30 airport taxi pick up that the hotel provided and found out later we could have gotten a taxi to take us for under $10. Otherwise, this was a great value, better booked on this website that on the hotel's website....

Friendly staff, good water taxi service and peace and quite away from the daily pace and noise of Aswan make this place an excellent retreat after a full day of exploring the sights.

Great value. Great rooms with beautiful views over the nile. Nice swimming pool and excellent facilities. Staff were excelent. Food was well presented but not great. Only negatives were the arcade of shops between the lobby and the pool who were over-zealous in trying to sell their wares and the Nubian band playing in the hotel bar who were very in-your-face looking for baksheesh. The room was large, well furnished, spotless with a huge balcony overllooking the west bank of the niile. No complaints. Regular ferry to Aswan town. Restarants, bars, room service, 2 large swinning pools, sports and gym facilities. Welcomes with a drink. Staff were extremely friendly and always eager to help. Food was beautifully presented. However not so great. Juices were diluted and coffee was very poor.
The hotel was spotless throughout. Water-fountains and island in the pool. Great fun. Swimming pool was great for the kids. It's on Isis island just a short (regular) ferry ride from Aswan main street providing pease and seclusion whilst being very close to the city proper. Shuttle service went at least every 5 minutes and trip to Aswan was a pleasant 5 minutes boat ride. As we were there in the off-season month of July the hotel was practically empty and it was very very quiet which was really nice.
But overall a great experience.

Very clean room and comfortable, huge bed!! Handy fridge and lovely bathroom!
Internet terrible & general computer services & very expensive!
Money changing was an ordeal, staff constantly gave us huge notes and became irritated when we could only pay for services with these huge notes! Laundry service was great, room service was nice also. Food was excellent, particularly in the cafe! Isolated location made a good nights sleep! The ferry was a little bit of an inconvienance but the views were nice. Took a lot longer than we thought!
We booked this hotel with a few luxurious days in mind while we visited Abu Simbel, although it was comfortable, value for money was terrible. The internet cafe was almost 3 times more expensive than anywhere else in Egypt, the computers constantly crashed and the keys stuck or didn't work which resulted in us almost losing a booking in another hotel as we couldn't type a booking properly, but they still managed to charge us 10 pound for 3 mins usuage and charge us for the call we needed to make because their computer didn't work.
We checked out midday as per usual, as we had 5 hours until our train we decided to use the pool and have lunch at the Italian cafe, as we were about to swim we were informed that we had to pay 35 pound each just to swim as we had checked out an hour ago! This was after we had just eaten at the cafe!
All the tour options given to us were ridiculously overpriced, (Abu Simbel air-con bus, no guide for 500 pound each or 650 with) when we paid 65 pound for an air-con mini bus which took us to the Damn, Philae Temple and Obelisk which we organised privately.
Also when changing money at reception we were constantly given 100 pound bills when we asked to have smaller bills and when we paid for services within the hotel they became annoyed with us when we couldn't pay with smaller bills!!
Overall this Hotel needs improvment, we recieved better services and treatment from other hotels which we paid 20 pound a night for! Nice view over the nile though and the breakfast was quite nice.

Overall the hotel was nice. There is a 24 hour ferry that takes you to and from the hotel since it is located on an island. The hotel itself is beautiful, it has nice outdoor sitting areas overlooking the Nile, it has mini golf, a mini zoo, they have their own green house and grow all their own produce. The room was decent and relatively clean. The staff extremely friendly.
