I liked most the location of the hotel and the excellent breakfast buffet with really nice attitude of the servicing staff, especially 2 ladies, who helped to get acquainted with local food and were very friendly.
The interior of the hotel was nice and the room size was good.
The noise was one minus at the hotel, both from the street (despite the 3rd floor location) and from the hallway, especially elevator door,but as I was prepared to that it was not a big problem.
Bathroom facilities could be improved as the toilet and washing basin were both leaking quite a bit of a water on to the flo...

Located in a good location close to the Corniche.Metropole is an old hotel in need of some love and care. While the building is classic, some of the amenities need work.

Disgusting hotel. Room is so small and the smell of the fresh wall paint was suffocating. I asked to change the room to a bigger one or one that is not freshly painted as I could not sleep, and that was not possible. It is also really noisy outside and you can easily get a headache. The streets around the hotel are really poor and ghetto like. Train infront of hotel.
Would not recommend it to an enemy!
