The Mega Hotel is a good and affordable place to stay for exploring both the tourist attractions and non-tourist places in Prague. It is a good 15 minutes walk from the city centre and is connected to the rest of the city via trams. Rooms in Mega are spacious and clean but have limited television channels.

Rated #36 for all Prague hotels
The hotel is indeed a good opportunity to explore the (touristic AND non-touristic) Prague at reasonable rates, especially in autumn. The connection to the old city by the tram No. 9 (alternatively 10 or 16 to other city areas) is very good. The breakfast is rather moderate. The rooms are spacious and clean, but the TV broadcast is limited.A tiny restaurant is somehow homely, especially at evening. All in one, the hotel to rest after a long walk through the city and move on further early next morning....
