Rated #57 for all Prague hotels
Location for the Old Town is very good. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the hotel has more than adequate facilities. The recption staff are friendly and efficient, and the buffet style breakfast seems to cater for all tastes.
Apart from the local building work, which looks due to finish very soon, the only downside to staying at any hotel in Prague these days, this one included, is the number of pathetic young English morons that now fill the place turning it into the new Dublin. Not the fault of the hotel / hotels, but just an unfortunate fact of life these days. So long as y...

If you want to stay in a dog box with no view (except a concrete wall) and a window that only opens 3 inches at an angle then this is the hotel for you. When I asked to change my room was told all the rooms were the same. Other hassle was that there was no fridge !! HotelTravel.com have a photo of a beautiful old building when in fact it is not the hotel but a building 200 metres away!!

Reception staff on checking out was unhelpful, rude and made comments in Czech which were clearly directed at us. Intent to make a formal complaint. The cause of this was a polite request for a hotel receipt that had our names on it which was required on our return to UK. She refused to provide one and despite asking again was only provided with a torn email booking form which didn't have our names and she only stamped after a further request. Not pleasant.

So long as you are prepared to tolerate aggressive brain dead imbeciles shouting, swearing, attempting to sing and generally being completely obnoxious until the early hours of the morning, then things are cool.
Apart from the English Prague is still one of the best cities in the world, and, as far as hotels go, this one is pretty good, especially from a value for money point of view.
Pity about the English scum!
