An excellent hotel for the money, right opposite the bus stop for the airport bus.The only poor thing was that the beer in the hotel bar was 3 times more expensive than local bars ( bringing it up to english prices )....

Grand Hotel Brno was located directly opposite the airport shuttle stop and student bus service depot. The newly renovated room was the largest room I have stayed in whilst travelling across Europe. The bathroom was modern, spotlessly clean and a pleasure to use. Breakfast was good, not great but good, and the bar, lounge and restaurant was also of a good to very good standard offering excelllent service. I would recommend this hotel.
Internet for guests, very good service, missing a few finer touches. All the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and professional.
Located opposite airport shuttle and student bus depot. Bigger selection on food and room service needed. Bed linen and bathrooms were spotless and comfortable. Unfortunately the flooring and smokey atmosphere took away from the overall quality. Although attached to a casino, the smokey atmosphere in areas not specifically designated as non-smoking, ruins the overall potential of this hotel. Good selection of international papers and complimentary internet for guests.

We came into Brno with Ryanair on route to Praha (Prague) the hotel is opposite the bus station so it was perfect for the bus to prague and back to the airport .As we only stayed one night we found every thing corredt for our situation . I think it has been recently renevated . As we were only there for one night . It was okay but they could smile a little more.

There was building work, which woke me up at 7:30 each morning. I complained... they moved me to Room 412, which is an '80s throwback room that had exposed ventalition and parts of the celing on the corridor. It was rubbish (by-the-way I still heard the building work). The moral of the story: never complain!

Nice and very comfortable hotel. Excellent location - 100 meters from central train and bus station, in the beautiful heart of the old city. Just few minuets from city attractions - no need for taxi or other public transportation.
