A nice hotel for the money spent. The only remark is for the air-conditioning system which was very noisy and not strong enough to keep the room cool in the hot summer weather.

The restaurant leaves a lot to be desired and whilst alright for the odd hen or stag party night out is completely out of character with the hotel itself --- the menu which was very definitely confusing and badly laid out plus the poor lighting made it an ordeal to order the actual food was dissapointing and in the end turned out to be very expensive for two in my view.
In the end I gave up wating for desert and went to walk out and pay the bill when suddenly I was served in nano seconds with a sadly prepared dish of caramelised fruit floating with two blobs of ice cream on a flat plate which I also did not enjoy.

Certainly our short stay was an experience as we had to switch from a very small drab pokey room on first floor because of the clattering noise from the restaurant kitchen area below at the back at gone 11pm. The new room was fine and comfortable the desk manager I must say was very helpful in this respect appearing to roll his sleeves up as he went in to personally speak to the restaurant manager about the noise.
I had called in to the hotel earlier in the day and spoke to girl on reception desk asking for directions about where I needed to go in Nicosia on my business --- it seemed that she did not have the time to spend with me as she was busy typing I was shoved a leaflet / map which she quickly sqiggled on like I new Nicosia like the back of my hand and as I tried to speak to her to locate where I was in relation to my vehicle on the one way system it felt like I was being a nuisance and was also being ignored.
The hotel restuarant is in Polynesian style and suffers an acute identity crisis in my view it was not that good in fcat a bit tacky it was dark and dingey with loud background trumpet mexican type music it sounded more like someone was banging on a bucket all night out we were both glad when it ended so we could enjoy the additional live guitar music as all we wanted like many guest I would imagine after a long journey was a quiet meal in normal hotel restaurant with a menu of choice.
The restaurant leaves a lot to be desired and whilst alright for the o
