Flamingo beach resort is very close to the airport. in fact you can see the airport from the room. There are buses every hour to the town centre. the hotel staff is also kind enough to arrange for the service taxis( most economical way to travel around cyprus).the breakfast is also of a very good quality. although the hotel looks a bit run down, the rooms are clean, the sheets and towels are changed everyday. and more over its right on the beach and the locations is excellent. Overall a very nice place to stay in larnaca. very quite surroundings....

The hotel was half an hour walk from the centre of the city really needing a taxi to get there. The hotel is only across the road from the beach. It is 10 minutes away from the airport. The room which we were supposed to have should have had a sea side view but the rooms we had were at the back of the hotel and the sea could NOT be seen from them. The rooms were attended to every day with fresh towels. However, the sliding doors on the wardrobe stuck and the inside of the wardrobe could have done with a fresh coat of paint - it didn't appear to have been painted for some time and looked dirty. The television had only 1 english speaking channel and the reception left a lot to be desired.
The hotel is advertised as having a rooftop swimming pool, which at the time we visited was EMPTY.The breakfasts were average with a lack of greeting or friendliness from the staff in the morning.Definitely not recommended
