I booked this Hotel because of its location and obviously the Hilton name. I booked a treble room, but unfortunately when we arrived, we were allocated a 'double room' (2 twin beds)with an extra 'cot' bed . For three adults this was not acceptable. We spent an hour explaining to the Manager that 3 adults could not share such a small room and eventually were upgraded to an executive room but for an extra charge per night. As we arrived on a Sunday we felt that the Manager hadnt got the authority to upgrade us and was prepared to argue with us rather than give us an acceptable room. We...

I booked this Hotel because of its location and obviously the Hilton name. We wern't prepared for this incident when we arrived, and it left us feeling quite upset. Anyway on Monday morning we were met by the General Manager who was very apologetic about what had taken place, and treated us with the utmost respect. Our holiday took off from that moment!! The room was excellent with the most fantastic views, the breakfasts were enormous, and the location of the Hotel is the best in Dubrovnik. We were not after all charged for the upgrade. I would definitely recommend the Hilton, but make sure you know the size of the room!
