Excellent value. Hotel is on Gulang Yu Island, not very central but relaxing and perhaps the nicest part of Xiamen. A small beach and a couple of small cafe / bars right outside the hotel which has its own ferry pier. Staff very helpful - we arrived late in the evening and our out-of-town taxi driver was unable to find the hotel. We phoned and they sent a boat to fetch us. They also acommodated an extra person in the room at the last minute and at no extra charge! The buffet breakfast was not great by western standards but at 15 kwai ($2) who's complaining?Check-In :
