of money, I will say this one is the best. There will always be some
problem, this is Shanghai, won't surprise me. The point is for the money

In my opinion, the service level actually seems to have improved over when the hotel was a Regent property.

This is my 2nd time staying at the Longemont in the past 2 years. It is a very good hotel and fairly priced. It is a bit out of the way and only a limited public transportation options are near by. The gym is one of the most entensive that I have seen amongst Shanghai 5 star hotels and the breakfast buffet is not too bad. My only compliant this time is that the A/C in my room was not working well and despite getting a technician to fix it, it still did not work well which resulted me making a room change

It was a very nice trip and although I was concerned since Regent does not manage it anymore, everything was fine. The only thing is that I looked forward to the cigar lounge only to find out that they were out of nearly all the cigar types other than the most expensive ones which by the way are ridiculously priced.I would definitely return there.
