Our room was nice...small, but really nice and modern. LG flatscreen. The biggest bed either of us had ever slept in. Somehow it was way wider than a normal King. In general, I find Holiday Inns in China to be a little nicer than in the States. We paid seventy-seven bucks, I'd say a great deal for the room and a pretty good location. You can walk to the Science and Technology museum and Pearl Market. We'd stay there again.

I stayed one night for US$79 because I rented the room online. When I went back two days later without a reservation and stayed in an identical room, I was charged three times as much and extra charges were added as well after the fact. That kind of price-gouging is dishonest and unacceptable. I would not stay in Pudong Holiday Inn again.

its very recomended hotel and near to the shopping center, just walk 10-15 minutes. If I will go to Shanghai again, I will stay in this hotel. Very nice.

The staff are willing and friendly but spoken English is poor. The hotel bar (Flanagan's pub) is a really good place- welcoming atmosphere and good ambience. Standard room was disappointing - no drawer space at all and no bath-tub. Coffe-shop food is good but restaurant is limited. The hotel is located in a safe and secure part of the city. The nearest subway station has been closed for over a year due to redevelopment so it means a long walk or taxi every time you want to out. The hotel is welcoming and friendly and a good place to stay if your first visit to Shanghai.

My fault but Pudong was a bit out of the way really. Not an ideal place to stay if you want to go for a walk - but cabs were very cheap. The concierge were the BEST ever and have travelled alot.
